How has the financial crisis affected you?

I hear and read about the financial crisis everywhere, but I have not seen any examples of how a person is personally affected. Request to all those affected by the financial crisis, please share your story. It will be good to raise awareness that this is something real that affect not only banks, but it affects real people. Thank you.

will answer you with a question,haven't you been to the grocery store or paid utility bills? and for awhile gas was so high ,that affects all of us financially.

It extended my chance of becoming financially free. However, it taught me what to do in order to become a successful day trader.
Jobs became scarce in my home town. My state's unemployment rate is among the top. Because I couldn't find a job, I'm now living at my wife's parents' place: Two-bedroom apartment with five people and a baby. On top of that, my net worth is at the negative. negative five figures, by the way, and I don't have enough to bring it back to the positive.
